breathtaking surroundings of mount Tanzawa in the west.

COLOR: Luminous and delicate golden-amber.

NOSE: Notes of cut flowers and fresh fruits, spices and light barrel notes.

PALATE: Fruity and full-bodied, it connotes flavors of winter spices and light hints of caramel and vanilla, as well as a round fruit perception.

These spirits are later mixed and aged in American oak casks in the village of a Mountain Farm distillery in Japan, a name meaning “pure river”, which is located between east Tokyo and the impressive area around Mount Tanzawa to the west.

Around 1700, Spanish ships arrived to the new continent loaded with products from the Iberian Peninsula. Among them were barrels filled with raisin wine, which were unloaded in the ports of New Spain. So as not to be sent back empty, those barrels – still bearing traces of the wine they had contained – were filled with chinguirito rum cane liqueur, a product made in Mexico.
